Halloween in little Raven town

In the Little Raven town lives a little Small family

Mum Hanna Small is actress she is working down in the Raven town theatre, now she is in a play called Romeo and Juliet. She is playing the leading lady, Juliet.

Dad Harry Small is a master cook and owns Hell´s kitchen down in Raven town.
Our parents often work really late so we kids spend lot of time with our granny Hilda Small.

Grandma lives in the valley in a cosy cottage. She has a small garden plot where she is growing pumpkins and corn. Her pumpkins are famous in that little town nobody grows so big and fine pumpkins. She also has some hens, so she sells pumpkins, corn and eggs to a near marketplace.

It was a dark and cold night close to Halloween Hans and Heidi was on their way home on the dark, dark road. Only the full moon was shining down on them.

In the end of the road was a dark, dark house.
-What was that? Heidi cried and grabbed Hans.
-An owl's hoot I think, Hans answered a little anxious and hugged her back.

-Shall we get inside? he asks when they pass by the house.
-Do we dare to? Heidi whispers.
-Come there is nobody at home.

When they are standing on the garden path they could sense bats over their heads.
That makes them go faster towards the house.

On the dark, dark house was a dark, dark porch.
On the dark, dark porch stands a dark, dark raven watching the kids walking up to the porch.
Hans almost starts to scream but then he sees that the raven is just a statue. He turns to Heidi and whispers something in her ear. Heidi nods and they sneak by the raven. Heidi takes a second look at the raven she could have sworn that the raven winked at her.

Hans and Heidi open the dark, dark door and it opens with a screeching, the kids has a feeling of fear as they enter the dark, dark hall

In the dark, dark hall is a dark, dark staircase.
The kids starts to climb up on the dark, dark staircase. The stairs creak underneath their feet.

When they are upstairs they enter a dark, dark room

In the corner of the dark, dark room is a dark, dark chest.
The kids move slowly, slowly towards the dark, dark chest. The little boy is shivering and the little girl is trembling

When they take a peak down in the dark, dark chest, it feels like their hearts are going to stop.
Down in the dark, dark chest lies a...........

-Oh here you are hello kids. Why haven't you turned on the lights? Mum is standing in the doorway and she has turned on the lights.

-Hello kids! Dad says when he enters the room.
-What have you been up to today? He asks.

-We have found "the dark, dark sandwiches in the dark, dark chest" Heidi answers with a dark pretending voice.
-Now we have eaten "the dark, dark sandwiches on the dark, dark table". Hans replies with the same pretending voice

Then they start to laugh.

And outside the window the full moon still is shining and an owl hoots.

Oh what was that?........Did you hear??.......

Muahahahahahahaa!!
